Efficiency of a ball with Vernier Video Physics app!

Today we run some training at King Edward VI School in Southampton and among the activities our delegates were asked to run they had to measure the efficiency of a ball using the excellent app Vernier Video Physics. Check the video below to see what they did.

From the height of each bounce they could easily calculate the efficiency of the ball. This is a nice practical your students could carry out too, but when one of the delegates sent me the video file I edited in the video above we also discovered that you get an attachment with all the numerical data from each point you plotted. This can be then used in a Numbers spreadsheet in your iPad and some further analysis can be done.
